PAUL WRITES:
This is a song that I wrote with the short lived FABLE band (see Paul's Bio). I came into practice one day with this bass riff that I was really liking. Well, they liked it too, but everyone put some ideas in and what we had left was an idea that was a bit like what you hear above.
(I actually have my original version called NOT TODAY on this page that you can check out too.)
In this version, I've stripped it down and I didn't put in any cello or electric guitar, like there was in the FABLE version, but the idea is still there.
The lyrics were written by Fable's singer - Craig. I Ioved singing the low harmony with him on this. I think we really "got it right" on that chorus. Check it out!
