PAUL WRITES:
I got a lyric/title (Super-Sized Moderation) from Rich Medicus, a local songwriter who is collaborating with me on a few songs. While we figure out the best ways to collaborate, I wrote this song based on that lyric and kind of ran with it.
This song is meant to be sad, emotional, slow and heart-felt. Hence, the 'bluesy' feel.

She Don't Want Me
(Ludenia)
...but she don't want me...
She wants her moderation super-sized
She want her victims to be victimized
She knows just what she needs
...and she don't want me
She'd rather give up than give in
She said something about sin
For her, my heart bleeds
...but she don't want me
CHORUS
The times I sit here by the phone
It's time to realize something's wrong
Forever was more like never
What else could it be?
Forever, will never be
...cause she don't want me...
So she tells me that she's in love
But she can't go on - she's all done
She won't see what we could be
...cause she don't want me
No matter what I say or do
She won't see that our love is true
She won't see what we could be
...cause she don't want me
CHORUS
The times I sit here by the phone
It's time to realize that I was wrong
Forever was more like never
What else could it be?
Forever, will never be
interlude
...cause she don't want me...
...cause she don't want me...
CHORUS
The times I sit here by the phone
It's time to realize that it's all gone
Forever was more like never
What else could it be?
The times I sit here by the phone
It's time to realize I was wrong
Forever was more like never
She knows just what I mean
Forever, will never be
...cause she don't want me
...cause she don't want me |
