I wrote HAD I KNOWN for my wife, Kristi. I had this chorus of 'Had I known" and I took that to tell the story of if I'd have known how great my life with Kristi would have been when I met her, I wouldn't have waited to marry her and get our life together going as soon as possible - so as not to waste any time.
