PAUL WRITES:
I wrote HAD I KNOWN for my wife, Kristi. I had this chorus of 'Had I known" and I took that to tell the story of if I'd have known how great my life with Kristi would have been when I met her, I wouldn't have waited to marry her and get our life together going as soon as possible - so as not to waste any time.
So, that's the insite on this song. I hope y'all like it.
VIDEO FOR "HAD I KNOWN" by Paul Ludenia from Twenty Ten Again.
Had I Known (for Kristi)
I would've kissed your lips, the first time we met
I would've told you baby, "You aint' seen nothing yet"
And to don't forget
My beautiful girl, walked in my life
Life without out you, well, it just, it don't seem right
And that's not alright
***Chorus***
Had I known, Had I known, Had I known
Had I known, Had I known, Had I known
Had I known it would be like this
I never would've waited to taste your kiss Had I known...
I would've held your hand, and baby never let go
The sooner the better baby, but how was I to know
And that that's for sure
If I'd have known then, just what I now know
I would've got this rock 'n roll show on the road
***Chorus***
Had I known, Had I known, Had I known
Had I known, Had I known, Had I known
Had I known
I would've held you, baby, so close to me
Not wasted time on the count of 1, 2, 3
And that's for me...
